Nearly three years ago, we began our exciting adoption journey, which blessed us with the arrival of our son, Thomas, in March 2010. It is amazing how fast the time flies! Tommy continues to grow and explore and amaze us each and every day! We are so blessed to have him in our lives; and we are so grateful to his amazing birth parents, A and M, who made such a selfless decision for their baby. It has been wonderful to continue to have them both involved with Tommy and us for regular visits, texts, and phone calls. We cherish the relationship we have with Tommy's birth parents; and we feel it is important for him to know his adoption story and the special way that we became a family.
We always knew that we wanted Tommy to have at least one sibling; and Tommy's birth parents were excited when we told them we were hoping to adopt again! Tommy loves spending time with his cousins and friends; and we know he will be an incredible big brother. We have so much love to share and are excited to begin our next journey! We have reconnected with our adoption agency, Adoption STAR, and have been excitedly sharing the news with all our friends and family! They are so excited... in fact, our families asked us why it's taken this long to begin the process again! Ha!
